2.2.3 Integration of human mobility in adaptation planning across governance levels
As countries move towards implementing their NAPs, it is crucial to strengthen the linkages and coordination between the national, subnational, and local levels with strong stakeholder participation. Human mobility is a localized and cross-cutting topic that is increasingly featured in NAPs, but there is a need to further integrate these into planning and implementation across different levels of governance. Three case studies from Costa Rica, Senegal, and Sri Lanka will explore the climate-mobility nexus and implications for multi-level adaptation planning. An interactive discussion will allow participants to share experiences related to integration and human mobility across countries and stakeholder groups, with the aim of collecting good practices, challenges, and opportunities from across the world.
