3.2.2 Bridging conflict and climate: strengthening climate resilience in fragile nations
This session focuses on how countries facing conflict and fragility can advance climate adaptation while supporting peacebuilding. This event brings together representatives from conflict-affected states to share concrete, real-world examples of integrating peacebuilding into the NAP process. Participants will explore conflict-sensitive approaches, identify strategic entry points for aligning adaptation and peacebuilding, and discuss the kinds of support governments need to overcome institutional and security challenges. Through peer learning and practical case studies, the session aims to inspire new strategies and partnerships that build both climate resilience and lasting peace in vulnerable contexts.
